Flotation machine is an important ore sorting equipment, and its working principle is mainly based on the adhesion between ore particles and bubbles. In the flotation machine, the crushed ore and water are first mixed to form a slurry, and then an appropriate amount of agent is added. The agent can change the nature of the surface of the ore particles, so that the adhesion between different ore particles and bubbles is different.
The flotation machine is equipped with a stirrer, and the pulp and air are fully mixed by stirring. Subsequently, by supplying air to the flotation machine, a large number of bubbles are generated. In the process of rising in the pulp, the bubbles are attached to the ore particles, so that a part of the light ore particles rise to the surface of the flotation machine with the bubbles to form scum, while the heavy ore particles sink to the bottom, completing the separation of the ore.
The working principle of the flotation machine is based on the difference in the specific gravity and surface properties of different ore particles, which realizes selective flotation.
