Disc feeder is a kind of conveying equipment based on rotating disc, which is mainly composed of motor, reducer, disc and other components. Its working principle is as follows: When the motor is started, the speed of the motor is reduced through the reducer and transmitted to the disc. The disc is fixed on the spindle, and the disc starts to rotate through the drive of the motor.
There are multiple feed chutes on the periphery of the disc. When the disc rotates, the material is placed in the feed chutes. With the rotation of the disc, the material is driven to the outside movement, and finally fed into the downstream conveying equipment or processing equipment.
The disc feeder realizes the quantitative and uniform feeding by controlling the speed of the motor and the design of the disc. Among them, by adjusting the motor start and stop, speed and other parameters can accurately control the amount of material delivery; and through different disc design, such as the tilt angle of the disc, the number of feeding grooves to ensure uniform feeding of materials.
Disc feeder is widely used in chemical industry, metallurgy, building materials, food and other industries of the production site, used to transport powder, granular and other materials.
