Working principle of spiral classifier
Author:
The spiral classifier is a kind of equipment that classifies materials based on the particle size. Its working principle is to divide materials into particles of different sizes through spiral rotation and vibration motion. When the material enters the feed inlet of the screw classifier, it is first transported by the screw conveyor, and then subjected to vibration screening in the classification chamber.
In the classification chamber, the material will be subjected to centrifugal force, and the larger particles will be subjected to greater centrifugal force, moving along the radial direction of the screen to reach one side of the screen, thereby being separated. Smaller particles, on the other hand, are subjected to less centrifugal force and are screened out through the sieve holes. Through the different size of the mesh, can achieve different fineness of particle classification.
The spiral classifier can also adjust the rotation speed and vibration frequency of the spiral according to the needs during the classification process to meet the classification accuracy required by different particles. At the same time, the spiral classifier needs to pay attention to the uniform input of materials during operation to avoid the effect of grading due to excessive or uneven feeding.
In general, the spiral classifier can efficiently classify and screen powdery materials through spiral conveying and vibrating screening, and is widely used in food, medicine, chemical and other industries, providing a convenient and efficient solution for production.
