Working principle of overflow mill

Overflow mill is a kind of common grinding equipment, which is widely used in mining, metallurgy, cement and other industries. Its working principle is mainly realized by a cylinder with grinding media (such as steel balls) inside. The material enters the cylinder from the feed port, and with the rotation of the cylinder and the grinding of the grinding medium, the fine grinding of the material is realized.
In the overflow mill, the material and the medium rotate together to form centrifugal force, the material is divided into different particle sizes, and the finer particles will rotate together with the medium to achieve the purpose of grinding. The larger particles are not easily ground because of inertia, and finally discharged out of the machine through the screen to achieve the role of classification.
In addition, the bottom of the overflow mill is provided with a discharge port, which will automatically flow out when the material is ground to a certain extent, ensuring that the material in the equipment is always in the process of continuous circular grinding.
In general, the overflow mill grinds the material through the grinding medium inside the cylinder, and finally achieves the effect of fine grinding. Its working principle is simple and efficient, and is widely used in various fields, which is of great significance for improving production efficiency and material quality.
