Working principle of disc feeder

Disc feeder is a common conveying equipment, mainly composed of motor, reducer, disc and other components. When the disc feeder is started, the motor drives the reducer to drive the disc to rotate continuously. When working, there is a uniformly arranged conveying groove in the center of the disc, and the material falls evenly into the groove from above through the container.
As the disc rotates, the material is driven to move toward the outer edge. During the rotation of the disc, the material moving outward will be subjected to centrifugal force, which will spread outward along the edge of the disc and finally reach the desired position. By adjusting the rotation speed and inclination angle of the disc, the feeding speed and direction can be controlled.
Disc feeder is suitable for precise control and supply of materials, commonly used in food processing, pharmaceutical, chemical and other industries. Its working principle is simple and efficient, and the conveying process is stable and reliable. However, it should be noted that the disc and conveying groove should be cleaned regularly during use to prevent blockage or cross-contamination caused by material residues.
