Working principle of rotary dryer

Rotary dryer is a widely used drying equipment, suitable for drying all kinds of granular, block and powder materials. Its working principle is mainly realized through the following links
First, the material is input into the drum of the dryer through the feeding device. Throughout the drying process, the drum will continue to rotate, so that the material in the internal uniform heating, to achieve the effect of drying. A material turning device such as a turning plate or a lifting plate is usually arranged inside the rotating drum to ensure that the material is continuously lifted and dropped during rotation, thereby accelerating heat transfer and drying efficiency.
Secondly, a heat source device is provided outside the dryer to provide heat energy by burning gas, liquid fuel or using electric energy. The heat generated by the heat source is sent to the inside of the drum through the hot air pipe, so that the material is continuously heated and the moisture is evaporated.
Finally, a dehumidifying device is arranged inside the rotary drum, and the moisture and water vapor generated inside the rotary drum are excluded to realize the rapid drying of the material. At the same time, the working parameters of the heat source and the turning device can be adjusted according to the specific requirements of the material drying, so as to achieve the best drying effect.
In general, the rotary dryer achieves rapid drying of materials through continuous rotary motion, heat transfer and moisture removal. Mastering its working principle can make the production process more efficient and smooth and improve production efficiency.
