Flotation machine is a kind of commonly used mineral processing equipment, mainly used in metal ore beneficiation process. Flotation machine using ore and chemicals in the water to form suspended solids, through the adsorption of bubbles so that suspended solids and bubbles attached together, so that useful ore floating to the surface, and impurities in the bottom of the ore, so as to achieve the purpose of separation.
The working principle of the flotation machine is to realize the effective separation of impurity ore and useful ore through the difference of physical and chemical properties. In the flotation machine, the ore is mixed with the reagent after being crushed and ground to form a grinding slurry. Air or other gases are injected into the flotation cell to produce bubbles, which are attached to the surface of the ore particles to form ore bubbles. The ore bubbles are adsorbed with the ore in the grinding slurry, so that the useful ore floats to the water surface with the bubbles, while the impurity ore continues to sink to the bottom. Subsequently, the useful ore floating on the water surface can be collected by the scraper for subsequent beneficiation.
In general, the flotation machine realizes the effective separation of useful ore and impurity ore by adjusting the ratio of different ores and reagents and the parameters such as bubble generation, which provides an important technological means for ore beneficiation.
