Rotary dryer is a kind of equipment that uses heat to evaporate the water in wet materials. It mainly includes the barrel, feeding device, internal heat source device, discharge device, dust removal device and other components.
The working principle of the rotary dryer is to provide a heat source through an internal heating device (such as a coal-fired furnace, an oil furnace, a gas heater, etc.) to increase the temperature of the air in the cylinder. The wet material is fed into the cylinder through the feeding device. With the high-speed rotation of the cylinder, the wet material is evenly distributed on the cylinder wall. At the same time, the hot air flows through the material layer through the internal air distribution device to evaporate and take away the water.
In the drying process, the moisture is discharged through the dust removal device, and the dried material is discharged from the discharge port. The whole working process is driven by the motor to rotate the cylinder to maintain a uniform drying effect. By controlling the heating temperature, cylinder speed and other parameters, the drying requirements of materials with different humidity can be realized.
Rotary dryer has the advantages of simple structure, convenient operation and high drying efficiency, which is widely used in industrial production.
