The ball mill is mainly composed of motor, reducer, electric control system, rotary cylinder and grinding medium. When working, the motor drives the rotating cylinder to rotate through the reducer, and the grinding medium continuously grinds the material. The material enters the ball mill from the feed port, rolls, rubs and grinds together with the grinding medium in the rotary cylinder, and finally achieves the required crushing effect.
The working principle of the ball mill is to use the centrifugal force and friction force generated by the grinding medium in the rotary cylinder to grind the material into smaller particles. The grinding medium is generally a steel ball or a steel rod, which continuously impacts the material when rotating at high speed in the rotary cylinder to break the material. At the same time, grinding and friction between the material and the grinding medium also occur to accelerate the crushing process.
