Flotation machine, also known as flotation equipment, is a kind of equipment that uses bubble action to separate useful ore from waste rock. Its working principle is to use the characteristics of the mineral surface, so that useful minerals and water adsorption, through the movement of bubbles and water, so that useful minerals attached to the bubble surface, so as to achieve the purpose of separation. Flotation machine is widely used in metal ore, non-metallic ore and other fields, and it is one of the indispensable important equipment in the process of ore beneficiation.
The structure of the flotation machine is usually composed of the number of slots, rotating impeller, bubble generator, slag tank and other parts. When in use, the ore is first crushed and immersed in water, then the flotation machine is started, the ore is fully mixed with the reagent by the stirring of the rotating impeller, and then bubbles are generated by the bubble generator, and the bubbles float after adsorption with useful minerals, and finally are separated in the waste slag tank and the concentration tank. The flotation machine is simple to operate and can be adjusted and optimized according to different ore types and process requirements.
