Working principle of overflow mill

Overflow mill is a kind of grinding equipment widely used in ore, cement, chemical and other industries. Its working principle is mainly to grind and mix materials through the grinding medium in the cylinder. When the material enters the cylinder of the overflow mill through the feed pipe, the cylinder will naturally form a state of rotation and a certain inclination, so that the material will continue to rotate upward under the action of centrifugal force and gravity, forming an effect similar to centrifugal classification. At the same time, the cylinder is equipped with some grinding media, such as steel balls or steel rods, which collide and rub with the material under the action of the grinding disc, so as to realize the fine grinding of the material.
In the process of grinding, the overflow mill controls the entry and exit of materials by controlling the opening and closing of the overflow pipe, so as to realize the control and classification of particle size.
