Flotation machine is an important equipment commonly used in the process of ore dressing, and its working principle is based on the different buoyancy formed by the different characteristics of minerals. Flotation machine mainly includes stirring device, absorption tank, gas solution tank and other parts. First of all, the ore after crushing and grinding treatment is mixed and stirred with the agent, so that the surface of the ore adsorbs the agent. While stirring, air or gas solution is introduced into the absorption tank to generate a large number of tiny bubbles.
Subsequently, the ore particles are in contact with the bubbles, and the useful mineral particles in the ore are floated to the liquid surface under the action of the bubbles to form a froth slurry. The waste rock particles are deposited at the bottom to form waste rock slurry. Useful minerals are effectively separated from waste rock.
In the working process of flotation machine, the selection of reagent, bubble size and contact time between bubbles and ore particles will affect the flotation effect. By constantly adjusting these parameters, a better beneficiation effect can be achieved.
In general, flotation machine is a kind of equipment that uses different buoyancy to separate useful minerals and waste rocks in ore. Its working principle is based on the floating and sinking separation process of different characteristics of ore under the action of bubbles.
