Working principle of active lime rotary kiln

Author:

The working principle of active lime rotary kiln is mainly divided into three stages: raw material addition, calcination and lime cooling.
The first is the raw material addition stage. Raw materials such as limestone and lime powder are fed into the rotary kiln through the feed inlet. The interior of the rotary kiln is designed as an inclined cylindrical structure, so that the raw material can be fully contacted with the high temperature air flow during the rotation process, and the uniform heating is realized.
The second is the calcination stage. In the rotary kiln, the raw material undergoes high-temperature calcination treatment, so that it undergoes chemical changes and is converted into active lime. The flame and high-temperature air flow in the kiln continuously calcine the raw materials, which promotes the decomposition of limestone to produce active calcium oxide.
The last is the lime cooling stage. The active lime after calcination needs to be cooled to lower the temperature and stabilize its chemical properties. Active lime will pass through a special cooling device, such as the cooler at the end of the rotary kiln, and can be used for different applications after cooling.
Active lime rotary kiln can produce active lime products stably and efficiently through the continuous cycle of calcination process, which is widely used in building materials, metallurgy, chemical industry and other industries. Its working principle is simple and clear, but in actual production, it is necessary to pay attention to details such as calcination temperature and material layout to ensure production efficiency and lime quality.
