Working principle of rotary dryer

Author:

The working principle of rotary dryer mainly includes three aspects: heat transfer, mass transfer and mechanical movement. First, hot air is generated by combustion or electric heating and sent into the dryer cylinder. After the wet material enters the dryer, with the rotary movement of the cylinder, the hot air exchanges heat with the wet material to accelerate the evaporation of water.
Secondly, in the process of heat transfer, the moisture on the surface of the wet material will gradually evaporate into water vapor and be discharged through the dehumidification system. At the same time, the internal moisture of the wet material will also be blown away by the warm air flow to achieve mass transfer and speed up the drying speed.
Finally, the rotary dryer through the mechanical movement of the cylinder, so that the wet materials continue to roll, heat evenly, to avoid local overheating or over-drying, to ensure that the entire material uniform drying. In addition, the rotary dryer can also adjust the speed and feed speed according to the material characteristics and drying requirements to achieve the best drying effect.
In general, the rotary dryer uses the principle of heat transfer, mass transfer and mechanical movement to efficiently dry wet materials, improve production efficiency, and ensure product quality.
