The working principle of the grate cooler is mainly to achieve cooling through the principle of evaporative cooling. In the interior of the grate cooler, first water is pumped from the water tank to the grate. The special design of the grate makes the water form a thin water film. At the same time, the fan blows the external air into the grate. When the air passes through the water film, the water evaporates and absorbs the heat in the air, causing the air temperature to drop. Then, the cooled air is pushed out through the outlet part of the grate sheet to play a cooling effect.
The operation process of grate cooler is mainly divided into two key steps: water film evaporation and air cooling. After the water forms a water film on the grate, it takes away a lot of heat through evaporation, making the grate surface temperature drop. When the outside air passes through the water film, the heat in the air is absorbed in the process of evaporation of the water, resulting in a decrease in the air temperature. After such a cycle process, the grate cooler can continuously reduce the temperature of the surrounding air to achieve the cooling effect.
